I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
